Insurance & fees

We accept all insurance.

If your plan isn't listed, call us anyway. We've made coverage work for almost every situation we've encountered.

Don't see your plan?

Call us at (626) 354-6440. We accept all insurance — even when we're not "in-network" with a carrier, we frequently work as an out-of-network provider with superbills you submit to your insurance for partial reimbursement, and we coordinate that paperwork with you. The plans above are the ones our coordinator handles most often, but the list isn't exhaustive.

Sliding-scale fees.

For uninsured clients or clients whose coverage doesn't reach far enough, we offer reduced fees on a case-by-case basis. There's no application packet — you tell our coordinator your situation, and we work out something honest. We've never turned someone away for the reason "they couldn't pay full rate." We're not going to start now.

Out-of-network superbills.

If your insurance covers out-of-network mental health, we provide the documentation you need (a "superbill") so you can submit for reimbursement. Out-of-network reimbursement varies — typically 50–80% of session cost after a deductible — and our coordinator can walk you through what to expect from your specific plan before you start.

Good Faith Estimates & the No Surprises Act.

If you're uninsured or self-pay, federal law requires us to give you a written, itemized Good Faith Estimate of expected costs. You'll receive yours before your first session. Read our Good Faith Estimate policy →

What you'll typically pay.

For in-network clients, you usually pay only your insurance copay (often $20–$50 per session). For out-of-network clients, fees range from $180–$240 per 50-minute session, with sliding-scale rates as low as $80 in cases of demonstrated need. Group therapy sessions are typically less expensive than individual sessions.

Money should not be the reason this doesn't happen. Reach out and we'll tell you exactly what your costs would be.
